• better-auth.session_token — stores your session token while you are signed in
• better-auth.session_data — stores cached session data when cookie cache is enabled
• better-auth.dont_remember — set when "remember me" is disabled at sign-in

Additional cookies may be set by authentication plugins (for example, two-factor authentication state).

Preference cookies

• locale — remembers your language preference (set by next-intl)

Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics. Analytics data is sent through our first-party proxy at t.dogdating.app to help us understand how our site is used and improve the product. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to distinguish visitors.

Local storage

Some preferences are stored in your browser's local storage rather than cookies:

• theme — your light/dark/system theme preference

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies (such as authentication cookies) may prevent you from signing in. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect core site functionality.
